Reader Operation Instructions 1. Connect one end of the RS-232 serial cable to the COM1 terminal of the PC and the other end to the serial port of the reader.
2. The voltage and operating frequency of the AC adapter at the input end of the power adaptor meet the requirements: 100V~240VAC/50Hz. The output is inserted into the power jack of the reader and the reader is supplied with power. The buzzer can be heard and the system can be heard. The initialization process enters the standby state. If you do not hear a buzzer sound, check the power supply and reader.
After the reader is turned on, the reader enters the standby state. Considering the needs of the user, the reader has been configured with the basic parameters at the factory to meet the basic operating requirements. If you do not need to set parameters, go directly to step 5 for related operations. When the user needs to personalize the operating parameters of the reader, proceed to the following steps.
3. Open the working parameter configuration program on the PC, select the serial port COM1, and match the serial port of the connected PC; the baud rate can be selected in the drop-down menu according to the requirements, the station address is set to "any station", click the "online" button , Observe the status information in the status bar. If “Correction OK†appears in the information bar, the reader/writer is successfully connected to the PC. If the message box reads “Communication anomalyâ€, the reader/writer has failed to connect to the PC. Please check it. Writer and serial cable.
4. Click on the query parameter button, you can see the working status of the reader. The parameter configuration is divided into three modules: working mode parameter, reader/writer parameter and protocol parameter setting. In the working mode module, the master/slave working mode can be set. Timing work mode or triggering work mode; power, antenna and card reading mode can be set in the reader parameter module; but support protocol and related parameters can be set in the protocol parameters.
5. Open the reader's demo program on the PC, select the serial port COM1, and match the serial port of the connected PC; the baud rate can be selected in the pull-down menu as required, the station address is set to "any station", and click "Online" Press the button to observe the output information of the status information bar. If “Correction OK†appears in the information bar, it indicates that the reader and PC are connected successfully; if the message box shows “communication abnormalityâ€, the connection between the reader and the PC is unsuccessful. 6. In the reader's demo program, you can specifically complete the reader's single card identification, multi-card identification, read block operations, write block operations, and LOCK operations for different tags.
