Hefei will promote video surveillance next year

The city’s technical defense coverage rate has reached 100%, rural technical protection coverage rate has reached 80%, and professional patrolling team members have made up a total of 14% of the total population. In recent years, Hefei has actively built a three-dimensional prevention and control structure and achieved remarkable results.

It is reported that in the city's prevention and control, Hefei City, according to "Hefei Tianwang project layout planning", the layout of the selection point 10680, the deployment of 16265 probes, the establishment of 64 monitoring centers; 1815 hotels all installed in the hotel industry security management system; 636 road monitoring stations have been established, and 32 traffic jams have been installed. When an emergency occurs, the entire city can be closed in 15 minutes. Urban technical defense coverage reached 100%. In terms of rural prevention and control, more than 1800 video surveillance probes were installed at the major crossings and key nodes in the county and townships of our city; 39 police stations were set up in major townships; and anti-theft facilities such as “networked alarms” were promoted in rural households. The video surveillance "village village" will be popularized throughout the city next year. With regard to professional prevention and control, currently the city has recruited 11,457 professional patrol members, making up 14/10000 of the total population. This year, the city’s urban districts have also equipped nearly 100 security patrol cars for street patrols to increase patrol efficiency.
