This marks that Shaanxi Coal Chemical Group has made major breakthroughs in the field of coal and oil and gas symbiotic mine safety technology in the western China through many years of research, reaching the domestic leading level and overcoming the major technical problems in the safe production of coal and oil symbiotic mines in the world.

The proven reserves of coal in the Huangji Luoji coalfield are 13.92 billion tons, which is a good power coal and gasification coal. However, the geological mining conditions are complex, and gas, oil, gas, fire, water and other disasters occur frequently, which seriously threatens the safe mining of coal mines. To this end, Shaanxi Coal Chemical Group organized relevant scientific research units to jointly tackle the problem, and through many years of efforts, completely solved the major technical problems in the safety production of coal-oil and oil co-production mines, discovered the disaster-causing mechanism of coal-oil-oil symbiotic mines, and proposed the prevention and control of coal-fired symbiotic mines. With the new concept of fire prevention as the core, the coal mine oil and gas co-generation coal mine coupled disaster prevention and control early warning system was established, and the coal and oil and gas symbiotic mine coupling disaster prevention and control technology system was established. It was promoted and applied throughout the coal and oil symbiosis mine in the Ordos Basin. Coal mine safety accidents with more than 3 deaths have achieved significant social and economic benefits.

The project has achieved significant innovations in the following aspects: First, it reveals the characteristics of coal-fired oil and gas co-generation wells and the mechanism of disasters. The second is to propose a new concept of coal mine oil and gas symbiotic mine gas prevention and control with fire prevention as the core and gas extraction as the core, and develop a coordinated prevention and control early warning system for coal and oil symbiotic mine coupling disasters. The third is to establish a coal mine oil and gas symbiotic mine coupling disaster coordination prevention and control technology system.

The research group also obtained a number of intellectual property rights, including 3 invention patents, more than 60 utility model patents, 2 software copyrights, 6 monographs published, more than 200 papers published, and 2 national coal industry standards formulated and promulgated. And dozens of Shaanxi Coal Chemical Group enterprise standards, trained a group of doctoral masters and senior engineers and technicians in the first line of coal mine, won the first prize of the 2014 China Coal Industry Science and Technology.
