In rural aquaculture production, self-contained feed for silage corn is about to be harvested. How to silage? The technical points are now introduced as follows:
First, the principle
Straw silage is a method for utilizing the lactic acid fermentation of microorganisms to achieve long-term preservation of the nutritional characteristics of green and juicy feed. Silage is made by using fresh corn stems or leaves or whole plants chopped, sealed and stored, so that the plants themselves breathe to cause hypoxic conditions, while lactic acid bacteria produce lactic acid by anaerobic fermentation of silage, so that the pH value drops to about 4, so that most of them The microorganisms stop breeding, and finally the lactic acid bacteria themselves are continuously accumulated due to lactic acid, and are stopped by their own lactic acid control, thereby achieving the purpose of long-term silage.
Second, silage technology
First, timely compaction, after chopped silage, should be immediately loaded, and manually compacted, generally crushed once every 50 cm filling;
The second is leveling, after the silage is filled, the last crushing is carried out, especially the surface should be leveled, so that the silage is tight and uniform;
The third is to leave about 1 meter of ground around the edge of the silage pile;
The fourth is the cover film, which is covered with a 12-thick, dark or white, high-strength, non-destructible plastic film on the compacted silage pile, and a plastic film about 1 meter is placed around the silage pile. In the upper layer, use 10~20cm thick yellow sand to compact, and carefully check the film, whether there is a hole, if there is a hole with a self-adhesive seal;
The fifth is to cover the outer layer of the plastic film with colored strips, which are pressed with sandbags, stones, used tires, etc. to prevent damage, bird food, and rodents;
Sixth, after a month of silage, the animals need to take with the feed when they need it. After the opening, they will be taken with the seal. If the material is not taken for a long time, the plastic film cover should be used to prevent the ventilation and mildew.
Third, note
The whole plant is harvested when the moisture content of the forage maize in the milky stage is between 65% and 68%, that is, the cutting time is determined to be optimal about 120 days after sowing. Use a trowel to chop the corn plants to 3~5 cm, then spray 15 kg of water per 100 kg of raw material in a watering can, then add a small amount of urea (5 kg of urea per 100 kg of raw materials), mix well and then fill with cement and brick. In the silage tank, it can be sealed after compaction and silage for 40~60 days.
Note:
1. Fill the plastic bag with the plastic in the silo pool as far as possible to prevent air, to prevent the aerobic mold and other spoilage bacteria from taking the opportunity to grow, resulting in silage failure.
2. Create a suitable silage temperature. When the temperature is 25~35°C, the lactic acid bacteria will multiply. If the temperature exceeds 50°C, the silage will be spoiled.
3. Try to shorten the time of weeding, bagging and filling, and prevent the deterioration of the raw materials before they are packed or packed.
4. Pay attention to the rodent prevention. The mice like to eat the corn kernels in the silage. If the plastic bag is bitten, the silage will fail.
