The country will reduce refined oil prices

Today, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice and decided to reduce the prices of gasoline and diesel by 105 yuan and 100 yuan per ton, respectively, and calculate that the retail price of gasoline No. 90 and diesel No. 0 (average of the country) will be reduced by 0.08 yuan and 0.09 yuan per liter, respectively. The price adjustment execution time is 24 o'clock on December 1.

The adjustment range of refined oil prices is based on the current mechanism for the formation of refined oil prices, and is calculated based on changes in the average price of crude oil in the international market 10 working days before September 1. Since late August, due to factors such as weak global refined oil demand, oil prices in the international market have been fluctuating and the average price in the first 10 working days has declined.

The notice requires that PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC should organize the production and transportation of refined oil to ensure a stable supply of the market and strictly implement the national price policy. The competent price departments at all levels should increase the supervision and inspection of the market, severely investigate and punish acts that do not implement the national price policy, and maintain the normal market order.
