The industry expects that by the end of November, the national polysilicon company's total shutdown rate will probably reach 90%.

Polysilicon manufacturers in Sichuan said that traders this week have already quoted an ultra-low price of 160,000 yuan per ton. If this continues, it will undoubtedly push down the price of polysilicon.

In the downstream market, a report released by Solarbuzz, a research institute, showed that the demand for global PV market growth in the third quarter was less than 1% month-on-month, but it was up 20% year-on-year. In the fourth quarter, as the prices of photovoltaic modules declined, it is expected that the system developer's return rate will increase by an average of 15%, which will drive the demand for photovoltaic installations in Germany and Italy to rebound.

The Silicon Industry Association expects that due to the large inventory in the current stage, the price of polysilicon and solar cells will continue to decline in the future, but the fourth quarter is the peak period of new installed capacity each year, and the downstream demand will have a certain degree of warming, coupled with a large number of photovoltaic companies And polysilicon manufacturers cut production, it is expected that the current situation of excessive decline will be eased, and the overall price will also be temporarily stabilized.
