The incident occurred in the three branches of China Post, Sanqi Street, Sandian Street, Xinzhou District. When the reporter arrived at the scene, he saw that the postal network was located on the first floor of a three-story building and on the side was an automatic withdrawal room of the Postal Savings Bank.
On the wall next to the cash withdrawal room, the cement wall was cut open and a half-meter square hole appeared, allowing the size of the adult to enter and leave. There are some red bricks scattered around the wall.
According to eyewitness accounts, early in the morning, staff members who opened the door to work found the wall hole. Taking into account the possibility of burglary, someone called the police. After the police rushed to the scene, a cordon was pulled around. Subsequently, the bank's staff repaired and sheltered the hole with cement.
At this point, two ATMs in the cash withdrawal room can still be used normally, and investigators are conducting investigations in the bank's office area. The reporter visited several households around the house and everyone said that they had not heard any unusual noises and did not notice any suspicious persons.
Cheng Dejun, the person in charge of the Xinzhou District Post Office, said at the scene that he arrived after about 9 o'clock in the morning. As the police are investigating and joining financial institutions, other details are inconvenient.
It was learned from the police of Xinzhou that by checking the video surveillance in the line, the police discovered that a man wearing a helmet and a mask at night passed through the hole here twice in and out of the line. It was alleged that a safe was stolen from the bank and the amount involved may have reached about 40,000 yuan. The specific figures are temporarily not disclosed.
