Second, obsessed in the seventies

After entering the diamond industry, when I was studying at the Zhengzhou Abrasives, the most heard was: This is a high-pressure technology. We have explored the extent of the decade to the present, and many things cannot be changed.

I know that the burden on my body is extremely heavy, there is no foreign aid, only by myself. It took a week to read the oil circuit and circuit, and while reading, I trained several students at the time who studied at the abrasives and let them go to the press. At that time, Lu Feixiong and Zhao Yunliang of the Abrasive Institute were going to "Luo Tuo" to do the experiment and asked if I would go? I said that I hope that I can open the press, they said no problem, we went to the "Luo Tuo", went up and turned on, especially enjoyable! I didn't expect it to be normal in the morning. It was a "cannon" in the afternoon, which scared me. Just learned the emergency stop "button" suddenly can not find where it is, then went to the electrical store to see a very conspicuous big cap red switch, buy back a try, very good! After the shot, it was lightly shot, it was it, and it was later promoted to the industry. In the future, we will make up our minds, we must not be superstitious, and we must all keep our minds, or we must make bold and scientific changes!

Back to Guilin, the first task is to install the press yourself. Where can the new workshop be driven? At that time, I was catching up with the "Seven One" gift, which was short, manpower, and heavy! Two tripods plus two jacks are the best "armed"! I was happy when I was able to list the gifts at that time. The office leaders often send "warm" - supervised! I thought about a lot of soil methods. In less than a week, the press was installed, and even the best welder welding system was transferred. The scene of the battle was always vivid. Finally, in 1971, before the "July 1", I took out the diamond and took a small bottle of samples. The leader, Zuo Yuan, took me to the Guilin Municipal Committee and the municipal government to present the ceremony. It was the first news project that we moved from Beijing to Guilin! At the same time, the power generation report reported to the Ministry of Metallurgy and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region respectively! Because this is the first gleaming "artificial diamond" of the Ministry of Metallurgy and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region!

In 1972, the diamond group developed to more than 20 people. We put this bold exploration into the entire team. The team is clear: to be sure of success, to deny failure! To practice, you must learn more. If you don't understand, you will find out what to do and learn by doing. So we have 10, 20, or even more questions: How much pressure does the cavity have? How much temperature? Why do you want to shoot? What kind of pyrophyllite block is good, can you break into it? Which kind of catalyst is good, how to optimize? What kind of carbon is good, how to optimize? Can the cavity be expanded and what can be done? How can the strength of synthetic diamond be improved? What is the difference with natural diamond? Our team has to complete many projects in a year, but the main topic is "coarse particles - high strength"! At that time, I did a lot of basic work: the temperature of the cavity was measured and the pressure of the cavity was calibrated. Several kinds of catalyst tests were carried out in cooperation with the Changsha Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. NiMnCo, 2# catalyst, 8# catalyst, etc. were selected, and NiMnCo became At that time, the market dominated the product; cooperated with Zigong Dongxin Electric Carbon Factory, made dozens of carbon tests, chose SK-2, and later developed T64P, which became the market leading product at that time; in order to solve the problem of unstable synthesis, personally went to Zhaojiatai Conducting geological exploration to understand the real cause of the instability of natural pyrophyllite, and proposing that the pyrophyllite should be powder-formed. In cooperation with Zhengzhou Abrasives, it is necessary to make full use of “mineral resources” or “stable technology”. Feasible suggestions and options. Most of its projects were later recognized by the industry and received national and provincial awards.

These jobs play a very important role in the self-improvement of young people! At that time, most of the domestic diamond factories were still in their infancy, mainly based on grinding wheels, and we were engaged in drilling. At that time, 1.8kgf diamonds could not be promoted! The first indicator task that Li Zhenqian gave us was to increase the 60-80# diamond from 1.8kgf to 4-5kgf (then 20,000kgf/cm2) as soon as possible to meet the urgent need for geological drilling to develop diamond drilling. At this time, we often heard that Li Zhenqian and other leaders conveyed the instructions and approvals of the central leaders Zhou Enlai, Li Xiannian, Yuan Baohua, etc. on the development of synthetic diamonds. This was the biggest motivation for us at that time. Worker engineer Yang Chunfa often told me that "people will win the day". I have been convinced for a lifetime. I understand that diamond quality is the core of our diamond drilling success and the driving force behind self-pressurization!

After doing some basic work, I have already experienced it. After a year and night, I finally completed the mature process and realized the task of 20,000ct in 4-5kgf leap year! Initially met the needs of the drill test.

The technological advances that had a major impact on the industry at the time were:

1. Expand the synthesis cavity on the Φ230mm small diameter cylinder press

In the early 1970s, China had a 'big press' wind, the abrasives were 6×5,000T, the sand was 6×3,500T, and the Guilin 6×1,500T presses were all due to the quality of the top hammer. The accuracy of the press failed to fail. This is not the person, the unit of the matter, the entire national strength is not up to. Trying to get a large cavity with a larger press seems to be impossible in the short term, and diamond technology seems to be at a standstill! A group of young people in Guilin have also been tested. How many days and nights are calculated in the research room. The result is a glimpse. At that time, our synthetic pressure was around 100Mpa, but the specification of the casting and forging was clearly calibrated to 150Mpa. In order to understand their design ideas and safety factors, I started a trip to Jinan with a brainstorming member. Lu Naiqi, Wen Xiaokang and other enthusiastic receptions, they personally took us to the pressure cylinder fatigue test room that is automatically counting, I personally saw that the cylinder pressure has been counted more than 130,000 times, the working pressure is 150Mpa, ready to count to 150,000 Stop it once. I came with the problem and saw their pressure on the test. I understand that the pressure can continue! We returned to Guilin and recalculated the safety factor of each part of the press. The minimum safety factor was 1.7 times when pressed to 150Mpa, so it is proposed to increase the working oil pressure of the press to 140Mpa. The design of nine values, such as increasing the size of the top end face, the size of the pyrophyllite block, the size of the cavity, and changing the synthetic process parameters, was boldly tested!

On the day of the official start-up, I suddenly had a high fever of 39.5 °C. Everything is ready, can't wait! Holding a quilt wrapped around. Because it is considered that if the top hammer is broken and the gun is shot, the calculated internal energy is 2-3 times larger than the small cavity. Now the gun is like a grenade, and the new shot will be a "small bomb"! In order to be safe, a division of labor has taken place. In case of power failure, water cuts, and borrowing from the medical office, the "wartime" preparations will be made one by one, the pressure will gradually increase, and the pressure will be observed under certain pressure. 135Mpa, success! When the good diamonds were presented, all of us were happy to jump, and the first Φ15mm cavity was successful! In this nearly half a year, the continuous test was carried out several times. In the test chamber, the Φ20mm cavity was reached, and the Ministry of Metallurgy reported good news! Later, it was promoted to Φ15-18mm in China, and the result was published in the journal “Artificial Diamond”.

2) Polycrystalline synthesis "a grasp"

The take-off of single crystal brings us more thoughts and delusions! What about polycrystalline? Li Zhenqian and Wu Yuhua hold natural black diamonds for physical and abrasive materials. Yu Hongchang engaged in the Ni-Si series; Shen Zong engaged in a growth. When we look at the abrasive, we have a single-cavity single-grain; when we look at the physics, there are Ni wires and Ni tubes. We have tried these, we can't take the old road, we analyzed its advantages and disadvantages, lowered the Ni-Si ratio of the Ni-Si series, made a lot of comparative tests to improve the wear ratio, and developed Ni-Si-B. Ni-Si-Ti products are used to improve heat resistance. These formulas are different in different proportions in the country, but they are widely used!

It is worth mentioning that single-cavity and multi-grain polycrystals, we also do a single grain after expanding the cavity, always feel that the cavity utilization rate is too low. We started thinking about more, but I don't know if it works? First, 2, 3 / single layer tests were made and the wear ratio was almost the same. At this time, everyone is bold, first made a single layer of multiple particles, and later engaged in a single-chamber double-layer, three-layer, in the 毎 single layer and engaged in the same form of different diameter and different diameters form. At that time, the published articles included: single cavity 2.5×4mm×57 capsules; single cavity 4×4mm×21 capsules; single cavity 6×6mm×6 capsules and other different processes. This result was published in the Abrasive Institute of Synthetic Diamonds!

In order to increase the polycrystalline wear ratio from 70,000 to 80,000 to 100,000 or more, in 1975 we approved the use of the high-temperature vacuum treatment device of the Institute's isotope research laboratory, which is the first time in China to use vacuum treatment to synthesize polycrystalline powder!

At that time, there was no special equipment for testing the wear ratio in China. In 1978, under the proposal of the company, the abrasive factory cooperated with the Guilin Diamond Factory to produce the system. The abrasive materials were sent by Wang Huarong and Huang Xiangfen to Guilin. The prototype was successfully tested as “JS71-A type wear ratio measuring instrument”. ". After being included in the 1983 Ministry of Machinery Standard JB3235-83, it filled the gap in China.

3) Diamond single crystal breaks through 10kgf

At the end of 1975, Chen Qiwu of Changsha Institute of Mining and Metallurgy determined the new ingredients through analysis and research. The two sides sent the new catalyst to Guilin to carry out the experiment of 2# catalyst. Start in a small cavity, the effect is not obvious. At that time, I had a full understanding of the large cavity synthesis to improve the quality of diamonds. It is believed that the 2# catalyst is based on the improvement of strength, and the effect must be carried out in a large cavity. Ping Ping immediately called to Qiwu to report, Kaiwu answered the application of the new program test, they returned to Changsha to prepare for the new catalyst, three days to return to Guilin to start the Machine, the difficulty can be imagined!

After a period of precipitation, combing, and after repeated hard tests, in the Φ15-16mm cavity, the first time to report the high-quality diamond of 10kgf strength, the subsequent test, the average compressive strength Above 10kgf, some even up to 12.5kgf. At that time, such high intensity was very exciting! The project won the National Science Conference Award in 1978 as the Changsha Mining and Metallurgical Institute and the Guilin Minerals Subproject.

4) Demonstrate the superiority of diamond tools on behalf of the Ministry of Machinery

At the beginning of the 1970s, the total diamond production in the country was less than 500,000 ct, but the 500,000 ct low-quality diamonds were inexhaustible, and there was even a surplus. The news actually reached the central leadership! At the time, Vice Premier Li Xiannian, who presided over the day-to-day work of the State Council, pointed out to the State Council Letters and Visits Office's "Newsletter" 61 "On the issue of the accumulation of synthetic diamond production in Shangsha": "Why is there no use for diamonds? Is there no promotion? It is recommended to investigate and expand the scope of use."

In April 1972, the Ministry of Machinery actively organized various departments to strengthen the promotion and application work. According to the six major administrative divisions, there are three major groups: Northeast/North China, East China/Central South, and Northwest/Southwest. Liu Guoding, Cui Yu and I went to the hardest third group. At that time, my academic qualifications were the highest, and Beijing’s unanimous request for me to speak. The lectures were attended by the chiefs of large enterprises or the deputy directors of the provinces with a total of 30,000 to 30,000 people. The preaching was very important. At that time, many large factory leaders in the western region heard that they had domestic diamond grinding wheels for the first time. At that time, the diamond grinding wheel was more expensive than the grinding machine, so everyone did not dare to use it easily, and the custody was very strict. The result was general. The preaching helped everyone find a lot of problems and solved their ideological concerns. We spent three months in the Southwest/Northwest region, then went to the three groups of abrasives and reported them to the Ministry of Machinery and the State Council.

Third, the hard work of the eighties

1) Re-establishing Guilin Diamond Factory

I have just set up an organization in the Guilin Institute of Geology of the Ministry of Metallurgy to be able to research and produce. In April 1977, the third ministry once again held a live meeting in Guilin. At this meeting, our group reported the research results of the "seven subjects." At this time, I received a command from my superiors to go to Lushan, Guilin to build a new factory with no conditions. At that time, the order was an order, unlike the two-way choice. A factory with a few hundred people had an average annual profit of only 0.5 million yuan, 800 mu of land, a batch of old-fashioned equipment, several dilapidated dilapidated factories, a stone road in front of the door, the car opened, dusty, the whole factory only A cement road leads to the steel making workshop. Everything has to start again, and the best high school students transferred from the wild teams are handed over to me. The factory manager (retired cadre) personally served as the leader of the preparatory team. I was the deputy leader. At that time, there was no technical assistant. Raw materials produced from diamonds, drill bits and reamers → equipment commissioning → use → recipe → process → product Detection → packaging → factory, which link is not in place, which place is a problem. Busy, tired, when I go home and wait for a meal, it is when I take a break. Because workers have to shift jobs, they must also take time to go to the scene at night to check the work and solve production technology problems.

Engaged in diamonds and drills, reamers, I went to the factory for the first time to spend about 12,000 yuan to buy beakers, reagents, acid and alkali, etc., the old secretary asked me to talk, our small factory can not afford this money! I told him that this has saved me from saving! Indeed, if you are in the institute, there are more than 300,000 flowers per year, and the final assessment is 20,000 ct high-quality diamonds. The two are really different. I am hard to find difficulties, use a penny as two cents, overcome difficulties, and the first year's profits will exceed the best level in history!

2) Heavy shoulders, as a leader

In the next few years, our profits will always increase by 20-30%! In 1983, the profit index issued by the superior to the factory was 700,000 yuan, but it was only 270,000 yuan in June. It is impossible to complete the task for the whole year. At this time, the superior decided to change the factory team in advance. At that time, I was on a business trip in Beijing. After conducting a public opinion test, I let me return to Beijing from Beijing with a 97% approval rate. I didn't want to take over the task of the factory manager. After the work team worked again and again, and the party member 'must obey the organization decision' to take over the task, enter the factory-level leadership team, and directly touch any hand. The pressure is beyond imagination. After simply arranging new personnel, the new team carefully analyzes the situation, mainly because the market is not well controlled. I personally led the team to the south and open up the market. By October, the overall situation has been set, and the annual task is over 10%. The superior awarded the "competition order" to the new team.

3) "Three Strengthening" of Party and Government Workers in the Rule of Law

I have served as the factory manager for less than half a year. The unit is under the responsibility of the director of the party committee and is responsible for the system. The factory manager seems to have a lot of rights. At this time, the National Federation of Trade Unions led by Ni Zhifu proposed that the "party, politics, and work" should be strengthened. I will implement it quickly. Everyone in the team has a burden. I have repeatedly unified my thoughts with everyone, focusing on "economic benefits." We insist on the collective leadership to make the benefits continue to rise, and achieve profits of more than one million for many years! And from a unit that eats “geological business fees”, it becomes a new state-owned enterprise that “governs the geological business enterprise” with a profit of 30% per year. Due to the accumulation of profits, the increase in presses and other production capacity has increased year by year, becoming the country's top ten diamond production plants at that time, and the country's seven major drill production plants!

We have been commended by our superiors for many years in a row. In 1985, I was named "Advanced Worker" of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation (Ministry)! Later, he was twice advanced by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Federation of Trade Unions, "Party and government leaders support the work of the trade unions."

In 1986, I was rated as the “discipline leader” of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; in 1989, I was awarded the “Advanced Worker of Science and Technology Xinggui” in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 1989, our factory was rated as “Top 100 Enterprises” in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Li Zhenqian, vice chairman of the autonomous region, took my hand and personally gave me a certificate and encouraged me to continue working hard! In this year, our factory was rated as an “excellent enterprise” at the autonomous region level.

4) Winning the national victory with excellent wins

In the early 1980s, he went to Beijing to visit the deputy director and secretary-general of the China Geology Society's Exploration Committee. Mr. Li Ruilun learned that Professor Li Davao of the Yangtze River Diamond Bit Company of China University of Geosciences was invited by an American institution to make diamonds in the United States. The diamond drill bit was tested on a bench. In fact, it is to verify (competition) whether China's diamond and electroplated drill bits can compete with their drill bits. Professor Zhai Ruilun told me: Now there is no high quality synthetic diamond, the time is very tight! At that time, we had a batch of 10kgf diamonds entering the market, and “China Land” was our old customer. I promised to provide more than 10kgf of diamonds. After returning to Guilin, I immediately selected 1,000ct of higher quality diamonds with 10,000ct diamonds and sent them to Professor Lida Buddha in two days. They are very grateful and said that they must win this competition. Sure enough, more than a month later, good news came from the other side, and China’s drill bit was successful. This time, China’s domestic diamonds played the national power for the first time in foreign research competitions!

5) Hosting meetings to expand the influence of enterprises

After we have achieved good corporate benefits, in addition to paying close attention to internal management and technology development, it is extremely important to establish a corporate image for the long-term development of the company. In the years of 88 and 89, we hosted the "8th National Crystal Growth Symposium" of the China Silicate Society Crystal Growth Professional Committee, the 5th High Voltage Physics Symposium of the Chinese Physical Society High Voltage Professional Committee, China Geological Society. High-level academic conferences such as the "5th National Exploration Engineering Symposium" of the Prospecting Engineering Professional Committee. These meetings have achieved good results. For example, there will be 370 crystals and nearly 30 foreign experts. The factory is equipped with English, Russian and Japanese translations, which has expanded the influence, improved the visibility of the company, and also trained the talents. After the high pressure will open, I was fortunate enough to be named by the Chinese Physical Society: "Learn to work as an advanced worker."

In my heyday, the superiors had let me go to the bureau several times, meaning to be a bureau-level cadre, and I was repeatedly scorned for my beloved diamond business! When the Guilin factory was taking off, a sudden human storm changed everything. My career was reversed by the fate of the destiny... In the powerful world, I can only choose to leave, leaving me by my hand. Create and pour me another 14-year-old Guilin Diamond Factory. When I left the factory to go to Hangzhou, there were hundreds of people who showed me off at the door! I am happy to return to my old factory after ten years and the following year. Everyone has not forgotten me. It is still kind and so passionate!

Fourth, the innovative 90s

1) Crouching tiger rests ready to go

I really didn't think that when I left office, I told me to be technically the chief engineer. As a result, I have a newspaper, a cup of tea every day for almost two years, and I have almost nothing to do. At this time, a book I wrote with Yuan Gongyu was completed at this time. It was named "Made in Synthetic Diamond Synthesis and Diamond Tool Manufacturing". The book printed nearly 10,000 copies and sold very well. It should be the best-selling book in the industry at that time. .

2) Arrival in Hangzhou, settled in Hangzhou

In the fall of 1991, a feasibility analysis report that I provided for a certain unit fell to the hands of the leadership of Zhejiang Arts & Crafts Import and Export Corporation. Five people led by the chairman/general manager came to Guilin to find me and introduced the group company. Basic situation, at that time his appetite was very big, asked which diamond factory in the country is the biggest, I told: At that time, the 38 manufacturers of the press were the largest. He told me: We are engaged in 50 sets! Because of this commitment, I agreed to go east and arrived in Hangzhou. According to the needs of the development of the group company, I immediately started to write the "Basic Knowledge of Diamond Synthetic Process" which was later circulated in the industry, so that each employee and leader handed a book, which not only played a propaganda role, but also trained the staff well. The staff training work was carried out quickly, and it was put into production that year, and it was very vigorous and quickly achieved excellent results!

After coming to Hangzhou, I immediately changed the plan to 100 units and stopped after I developed to 31 units. So the good times are not long, only insist on production for a year or so. Due to the contradiction between the shareholders of the four project investors, and the separation of the family, the largest 100 press plans in the country in the early 1990s were ruined in front of me, and my good vision once again died. I really can't figure out why the road to life is so difficult for me, so unfair! But I have been fighting for diamonds for more than 20 years, and no one can reverse the trajectory of my continued struggle for the super-hard industry!

3) Full service to the society

Since Hangzhou Jiangnan Trade and Industry Group no longer has diamonds, I have focused on two tasks:

a. Serving the industry: extensive technical advice. During this time, I went north to Changchun City, Jilin Province, south to Xiamen City, Fujian Province, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, east to Dongying City, Shandong Province, and west to Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. In the vast interval for about dozens of companies, I have basically abandoned the products in these years, the products have the original foundation plus regular attention can be known. The focus is on the development of high-quality diamond products, the development of different crystal forms and different particle sizes of diamonds, the saving measures of top hammers, the tapping of small presses, the development of large-scale presses, and sometimes the promotion of new cubic boron nitride processes. Anyway, I want to dedicate my knowledge to the society. Because the overall level of the country was relatively low at the time, the work I did was quite handy and I could solve the problem quickly.

To give a few examples: For example, Anhui Quanjiao Changjiang Superhard Materials Group Co., Ltd. developed very fast at that time. I went to less than 20 units for the first time and went to 80 units again. It is already one of the largest diamond factories in the country, but the synthesis process. Quite backward, they told me that they would not go down again within three months. Because it is an emergency, and take some coercive measures, hundreds of people in the whole factory have stopped working and stopped production, leaving 40 backbones, first speaking three days, and then starting up. At that time, their craftsmanship was the best 13kgf of the selected type. The process required me to lower the temperature, especially the pressure. Because they also received some training, I spoke and said, a backbone student raised his hand to speak: Fang teacher, according to what you said, we can't press diamonds in the future! I said: Please sit down, this time I am taking the nature of technology transfer, do a good job, the company has to give money; if it is not good, the text is not taken, and it will be turned on after three days. On the third day, two units were started at the same time, synthesized during the day and purified at night. The first sample came out, 40/45, 45/50, and 50/60. The average compressive strength of the three particle sizes was selected, but not selected. In the case of type, all of them are above 17kgf and up to 17.8kgf. Fully resume production after one week!

The Zhongnan factory invited me to mainly engage in quality product technology. After that, the factory manager asked me to give the team a three-day class. After signing with me, I said that you have a grass, and I have no opinion in principle. So while guiding the craft, I tried to reduce the consumption, and rotated the whole staff training for several weeks, and videotaped. Because of their seriousness, I didn’t dare to neglect. Every day, I carefully prepared lessons and took a small beam to let him be responsible for the craft and Top hammer adjustment. In this way, we have been working continuously for more than a month, laying a good technical foundation for the South Central Plant. I am very certain that their strict management has been very good and can be done according to my strict requirements. Later, the refined assembly and craftsmanship has a direct relationship with them to the extra-large diamond enterprises!
Under the positive recommendation of Tang Zhennian, I came to Changbei Nanchang Senfu Diamond Co., Ltd. to promote the relative balance and relatively low temperature and low pressure new process. The first results were: 40/45, 45/50, 50/60 The grain size is guaranteed in the case of the quantity, and the shape is not selected after the sieve, and the strength is 19-20kgf. Changbei District bear secretary is very happy, opened a staff meeting and dinner, and personally sent me 20,000 yuan in cash! The tuition fee is only 1,000 yuan per person, and the accommodation is self-sufficient. take. With the support of the Secretary of China University of Petroleum (Dongying) and Shandong Super League Association, Jiang Minhua, with the assistance of Secretary General Wang Dexin, the “Industrial Diamond Information Network” was registered, and soon more than 20 units participated. After the lecture, the internship was only half a month. After a rigorous assessment, the qualified one was issued by the China University of Petroleum (Dongying) to the “Certificate of Completion”. Follow-up, the units participating in the training have achieved good economic results in the same year, "Industrial Diamond" magazine has reported.

5. History keeps me from stopping.

1) Hongjing re-employed to adhere to development

At the end of 1998, the unit informed me that I had to go through the retirement procedures. I was in a hurry, and I was 60 years old. I really didn't think that time passed so fast, and I blinked sixty in the spring and autumn!

The good thing is to leave the unit and quickly find a job adaptation point. Every year, there is always a unit to find the door. Once passed by Anhui Hongjing New Materials Co., Ltd., I knew that I was retired and invited me to participate in their work. 1 They really lack talents, and they urgently need a person who can give them checks; 2 their husbands always say that they are all sixty years old and should find a stable place. That's it. They specially renovated a new house, took us both, and lived for 6-7 years.

In the "Hongjing" the most important thing is to do three things: 1 adhere to the small press to tap the potential: At that time on the Φ280-320mm press, I have promoted Φ25mm cavity in many places (mostly Φ23mm cavity in China at that time) After that, we extended it to the Φ28mm cavity on the Φ280-320mm press, and carried out the provincial appraisal, which was well received, and the small press extended the life of 5-8 years. 2 Adhere to the large-scale press: While tapping the potential of the small press, we have not forgotten to keep up with the situation. We also carried out the test of the Φ500mm press. It is expected to be stable for three years, and then actually more than one year. Stable, "Hongjing" has developed to the current size of more than 250 large presses. 3 Adhere to the new process of powder catalyst: When I was at Hongjing, I accepted the invitation of “Jing Xin Lei” and served as their senior consultant for free. After several years of running-in, the powder catalyst synthesis technology has become the mainstream product, ensuring “macro” Jing" stood in the big waves and sands, and it is still prosperous!

2) Theoretical summary publication monograph

In order to pass on my knowledge to others, I tried to publish books. The most important feature of my book is: try to write in my advanced advanced experience and improve my understanding in theory; theoretically turn my mature practical experience into the common wealth of the industry.

The first book, "Manufacture of Synthetic Diamonds and Diamond Tools." The second is "Basic and Standards for Synthetic Diamond Cubic Boron Nitride", published by the Chemical Industry Press in 1993. This book was completed on the basis of the lecture on "Basic Knowledge of Synthetic Diamonds" that I wrote after I went to Hangzhou. Later, the lectures were re-examined, and new contents such as sintered bodies, composite sheets, fine powder, CVD, and cubic boron nitride were added. At the same time, the main standards at that time were added, and the manuscript was printed. Because this time happens to be the development of diamond companies, the sales of new books are also very good.

In 1995, the old comrades who participated in the work of superhard materials and products in the 1960s and 1970s retired one by one. It should be said that these people have a lot of experience. Many friends suggested that I organize everyone. I sent nearly a hundred letters and received support from nearly 90% of my colleagues. These people are included in the editorial board. I combined the characteristics of each person and gave the chapters separately. I did not expect a few months to come up with a large box of manuscripts. As a result, the original manuscript could not be tolerated, and he had to publish his own part in the form of a collection of essays. This is the "Research and Application of Synthetic Diamonds", published by the Geological Publishing House in 1996.

The "Books" have been encouraged by a group of old experts and old academicians. They put forward the "practical main, based on me; summing up experience, compatibility and inclusion; reflecting the level and advocating development", which is always the purpose of my compilation. At first, I spent three months, but because the workload was too big, I finished the draft less than 1/5, and I had to carry a few thousand pounds of text papers to Yanjiao! Looking for two editorial departments to discuss how to turn this heavy manuscript into a monograph, but fortunately got their strong support. An editorial department is responsible for one volume, namely, "Superhard Materials Science and Technology" (Volume 1), (2), "Superhard Materials Foundation and Standards" is still revised by me. The book has more than 1.4 million words from me. In the midsummer of 1997, the temperature was always at 41-42 °C. I hid in a small house in the "small tricks" of Yanjiao. At this time, I received strong support from the Metallurgical Exploration Institute and Yanjiao Diamond Factory. I have lived for more than 40 days and can only rest for a few hours every day. For the manuscript, Hangzhou-Beijing travels twelve times. It was finally completed with the support of the editors of the two magazines, and was published in April 1998.

The last two ((sets)) books are "China's Superhard Materials New Technology and Progress" (800,000 words) published by China University of Science and Technology Press in 2003 and "Modern Superhard Materials" published by Zhejiang University Press in 2011. And products" (volumes, volumes) (a total of 1.43 million words). The two books took me about ten years, and the latter also received strong support from my students, postdocs, doctors and many colleagues.

In the past 20 years, I have completed a total of eight monographs on synthetic diamonds, superhard materials and products, about 5 million words. What I want to emphasize is: I am not writing a book for writing a book. On the one hand, there must be support from the test. On the other hand, there must be a theoretical improvement. At the same time, it is basically not from books to books. I am more willing to summarize my own practice, such as "relative low temperature and low pressure theory", "relative balance theory", "carbon and superhard materials", "new understanding of powder catalyst technology", "dovetail synthesis process", "seven "Effects of large factors", "Eleven key points of assembly design", "Double-peak synthesis", "Pressure step synthesis process", "Quality and high-yield unity view", "Small machine small hammer small block large cavity", "Surface theoretical coating ", "big triangle and small triangle method" adjustment press, "pressure machine large-scale bottleneck and outlook", "plow-type drill bit", "full-section drilling and drilling bit", "electrode plating method", etc. in my There are more detailed discussions in the monographs, not enumerated one by one. They are all generalizations of my practice → theory → practice → re-theory. These books also convey the technical essentials that I believe are advanced.
