2. After the job is completed, the tools should be cleaned and returned to an appropriate storage location.

3, sharp tools can not be installed in the pocket. Use tool kits or tool straps.

4. Before applying the force to the wrench, make sure that it engages well. The operator should support his body in the right place to avoid falling down when the tool slips. Make sure to keep enough distance between your hands and fingers and the tool to avoid injury when the tool slips. 5

5. To avoid the use of unprotected cutters, use the following tools instead :

Second, scissors

Cutting pliers or vise for cutting straps or cables

Protective blades for cutting cloth bags, packaging materials or plastic strips

If it is necessary to use a tool, the tool must have a blade length of less than 75 mm ( 3 inches ) and must be equipped with a blade locking device. The knife is always drawn outwards and there is no other person in the boom area.

Large tool cases, cargo cases, and other various lids should have locking devices when they are opened to prevent accidental closure of the lid due to high winds, equipment, or objects that have fallen on the lid.

The Northeast Sichuan Natural Gas Project does not encourage the use of an extended handle sleeve, but if it is really needed, it should be ensured that the handle sleeve is lengthened:

Use only when absolutely necessary;

Less than twice the length of the wrench handle;

The wrench handle can be fully inserted and tightly coupled;

Do not push or yank when disconnecting the connection;

Must not be used on crescent-shaped adjustable wrenches or aluminum socket wrenches;

Second, power tools

Electric tools should be classified and grounded according to industrial applications. When using electric tools, operators should ensure that all portable power tools are equipped with a three-wire grounding conductor or have double insulation.

Only people who are trained and skilled in using these tools can use them.

The vast majority of electric tools in the operating state of its motor may produce sparks, the temperature is enough to ignite the natural gas mixed in the air. Do not use power tools in areas where combustible gases are present. The use of power tools in the restricted area is the same as for welding.

Third, the power extension cord

The design principle and usage principle of the power extension cord are temporary wires. All other power connections should be made using a suitable method for permanent connection.

The total length of the extension cord should not exceed 45 meters ( 150 feet ).

There is a corresponding grounding in the power extension cable sheath used in the restricted area, and in addition, there must be an explosion-proof three-wire grounding socket and plug in each of the two segments of the line.

If the cord is damaged, it should be replaced and truncated by an electrician. Do not repair with electrical tape.

Wires must not be hung on nails or sharp objects, should not be placed in standing water, and should not be placed where rolling stock may have passed.
