The overall price of the cement market in the country was mainly stable, and prices in certain small regions were adjusted to a certain extent, ranging from RMB 10-30/tonne. Downstream demand was slightly higher than last week, mainly due to the needs of the rural market. Key projects and real estate projects were still not available. Start-up; most companies’ inventory continues to remain at around 80% of the high level, while inventory in the third-tier cities and rural areas accounts for a slight decrease, but it is also above 60%. The price fluctuations in individual regions mainly include Tongling in Anhui, Guigang in Guangxi, and Xuzhou in Jiangsu. The “China Glass Composite Index” on February 10, 2012 was 1080.105 points, a decrease of 232.046 points year-on-year and an increase of 10.421 points month-on-month. The "China Glass Price Index" was 1075.234 points, down 299.881 points year-on-year and up 9.373 points month-on-month. The "China Glass Market Confidence Index" was 1099.590 points, up 39.295 points year-on-year and 13.720 points month-on-month. The index is still weak at the bottom and there are no signs of upward breakout. Production companies in East China and other regions also held price coordination meetings in the early part of the year. However, due to the high inventory of production companies, there was no upward driving force, and only a symbolic upward adjustment of 1 yuan.
