It can produce a variety of high-precision, high-gloss surface, complex shape thin-walled hollow profile and porous hollow profile, but in the extrusion It is more difficult to repair the mold and clean up the residue when pressing or squeezing.

The star combination die is suitable for hollow profiles with large external dimensions. The extrusion force is smaller than that of the flow splitting die. The yield of the profile is high, and the residue removal is relatively easy, but the die processing is more difficult.

Tongue mold residue is longer, the profile yield is low, mold processing difficulty is between the two, but the extrusion resistance is small, and the residue is easy to clean in the extrusion or the end of the extrusion, repair the mold is convenient Therefore, it is mostly used for thin-walled hollow sections or hard alloy military aluminum that require high extrusion pressure.
