Avoid walking into the three major misunderstandings
Misunderstanding 1: Abuse of rooting agent
Many vegetable farmers very much recognize the role of rooting agents. They believe that their rooting effect is good and their effect is fast. Therefore, no matter whether it is tray, watering or rooting, rooting agent will be added. However, the fact is that the premature aging of vegetables in recent years has a great relationship with the abuse of rooting agents. Tomatoes are only "long roots, no fruit" and are also related to rooting agents.
Recommendation: The main role of rooting agents is to take root, but who knows how many tomatoes are suitable? When the growth of vegetables is normal, the nutrient-type fertilization can meet the growth needs of vegetables. Rooting agents are not necessary. Instead, the plant growth regulators in the soil will be excessive, and the reproductive hormone balance in vegetables will be broken. It is more prone to various problems.
Misunderstanding 2: Flat cultivation
In order to save trouble, many growers use flat hoes to grow tomatoes. After planting, in order to control weeds, they are covered with black mulch, and agricultural operations such as flowering, spraying, and smearing are carried out on the mulch film. The mulch is close to the ground, and the farming operation and irrigation are in the same row, which leads to serious consolidation of the soil between the rows of tomatoes, hindering the exchange of gas between the soil and the air, reducing the vitality of the roots, affecting the absorption of carbohydrates by the roots, and the growth of the plants is weak. Slow.
Suggestion: The summer cultivation of tomato should be covered with high ridge or sorghum mulch, and the cockroach is generally made 20~25 cm high, and then covered with mulch. Sorghum mulching cultivation is not only conducive to water retention and fertilizer protection, but also beneficial to rainy season drainage, disease prevention and anti-aging. For greenhouses that have been cultivated in flat sorghum, combined with soil cultivation, the heart can be changed into ridge back in 2 or 3 times to prevent excessive soiling, damage root system and reduce the ability to absorb nutrients. Pay attention to the way the film is covered, and use the iron wire, bamboo piece, etc. to support the film to increase the air flow on the soil surface, and the operation line is separated from the irrigation line.
Misunderstanding 3: Improper application of fruit-fruiting agent
Why are the tomatoes of the same panicle large and small? That is because the method of applying the fruit-fruiting agent is wrong. Some tomatoes have not yet blossomed, and the whole bouquet is sprayed at once. The fruit of the buds that are not open forms a stiff fruit. In the future, no matter what advanced fertilizer is used, it still cannot grow up.
Suggestion: Use the method of flowering, which one is open, so as to effectively avoid large and small fruit and increase the overall output.
The more tomatoes you have, the better?
Many vegetable farmers use the method of retaining more fruits in the early stage when planting the summer tomato, and leaving 5 to 6 fruits per panicle to suppress the plant growth and promote fruit setting. The result is counterproductive. The nutrient content of the lower part of the tomato is more nutritious, resulting in insufficient nutrient supply in the upper part of the plant and poor fruit setting. Therefore, the vegetable grower should remove too much fruit from the lower part of the plant, usually in two parts. The first time the fruit grows to the size of the soybean grain, the fruit that is too large, too small or obviously deformed is removed. The second time, when growing to the size of the grape, it is mainly to remove the deformed fruit and reduce the nutrient consumption to promote the flowering and fruit setting in the upper part of the tomato.
There are also many people who think that the summer temperatures are high and they can retain more fruits. In fact, too much fruit is left in the lower part of the plant, and the nutrient consumption is too large, which will seriously affect the growth of stems and leaves and roots, resulting in insufficient supply of nutrients from the soil, less accumulation of photosynthetic products, and falling into the tree. Will be greatly affected.
Recommendation: The first ear of fruit does not stay, and is removed at the right time. The reasons are as follows: 1. It is easy to fall into the tree, which is not conducive to high yield in the later period. 2. Due to the high temperature of the nursery, the first ear flower buds are poorly differentiated, and the deformed fruit is prone to occur in the later stage. 3. The first spike flower is used to test the anther concentration, and the appropriate flower concentration is tested for the subsequent spike flower. 4. The first flower of each ear is 1 to 2 days earlier than other flowers of the same ear, so the first flower is not. If the first spike is spent, the subsequent flowers are prone to malnutrition. If the plants are very prosperous, the first ear leaves 2 to 3, the second ear leaves 3 to 4, the third ear leaves 4, and the fourth ear above the ear can leave 4 to 5.
Promote the conversion of three potash fertilizers
The tomato in the greenhouse in summer is easy to color poorly. How can it promote color change? Many growers know that the formation of green fruit and flower fruit is related to excessive nitrogen fertilizer and potassium deficiency. Although they all know that potassium supplements are added, the effects of different potash fertilizers vary widely.
Specifically, potassium nitrate is suitable for the expansion of tomato young fruit to the early stage of coloration, and can promote the expansion of pulp cells. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is generally applied before and after flowering to promote root germination and flower bud differentiation, and provide energy for flowering and fruit setting; application during the coloring period can promote coloring of the powder and increase the sweetness of the fruit. Potassium nitrate is used for crops that require large amounts of nitrogen, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate is used for crops that require large amounts of phosphorus. These two fertilizers are quick-acting fertilizers and are sold at a higher price, so it is not recommended as a base fertilizer. It should be used as top dressing or root fertilization. Potassium sulphate is suitable for tomato coloration from late stage to fruit ripening period, promoting fruit coloration and increasing fruit sweetness. Manganese poisoning in many vegetable areas is caused by soil acidification, and the direct cause of soil acidification is the use of potassium sulfate throughout the year.
