Today, at the age of 80, he is still active in the international stage of the machine tool industry, personally planning and promoting more than a dozen overseas mergers and acquisitions in China's machine tool industry.
It is understood that in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the foundation of China's machine tool industry was extremely weak, and the equipment and technology at that time relied on Soviet aid. After decades of development, China's machine tool industry has significantly improved its position on the international stage. Since 2002, China's annual consumption of machine tools has ranked first in the world. From 2002 to 2008, China's machine tool industry carried out 13 overseas mergers and acquisitions, and the companies acquired were located in developed countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan and France.
