A spare bearing code is composed of the base code plus one or more make-up codes. SKF bearing base code:
SKF's full range of standard housings have specific base types; typically three, four or five digits; or the composition of letters and numbers. The first digit or the first letter or letter cooperates to indicate the housing type, the first two The digits determine the ISO scale series, the first digit represents the width or height series (identification is the scale B, T or H); the second digit represents the diameter series (scale D). The end two digits of the base type are the housing The scale code, multiplied by 5, gives the inner diameter in millimeters. However, there are a few exceptions as follows:
1. In a small number of cases; the number indicating the type of housing and the first number indicating the series of scales are omitted. Example: 6(0)208-2Z (0)3209 A
2. For skf housings with an inner diameter of 10 mm or more or 500 mm or more; the inner diameter is usually indicated directly in millimeters; without the code number, the other parts of the housing type are separated by diagonal lines; for example: 618/8 (d = 8 mm) Or 618/530 MA (d = 530 mm).
3. Housings with inner diameters of 10, 12, 15 and 17 mm are marked with the following dimensions: 00 = 10 mm 01 = 12 mm 02 = 15 mm 03 = 17 mm
4. For small smaller housings with an inner diameter of less than 10 mm; for example, deep groove, self-aligning and angular touch ball bearing housings; the inner diameter is also indicated in millimeters (without the code); however, it is not separated from the series by a slash; for example 629 or 129 (d = 9 mm).
5. The inner diameter of the skf bearing housing that violates the standard inner diameter is always not coded; instead it is indicated by up to three decimal places. The inner diameter mark is part of the base type; it is separated from the base type by a slash; for example 6202/15,875 (d = 15,875 mm).
